Director of Research, Innovation and Enterprise: 6 month interim role
We are seeking an exceptional individual to provide leadership to our Directorate of Research, Innovation and Enterprise, for six months, during a key period as we prepare for REF and review our research governance and management, under a new Vice-Chancellor.

The role
The roleholder reports to the PVC Research, with a dotted line to the Registrar and Chief Operating Officer. The post is full-time, based at the Headington Campus (with hybrid working arrangements available), and its purpose is:
* To take a leading role in preparing the University for the next REF, and reviewing our research governance and management.
* To provide leadership and direction for all activities that support research, innovation, knowledge exchange and enterprise (RIKE) across the university and through regional, national and international collaborations.
* To lead the Directorate of RIE, and work with colleagues in RIE to develop and implement strategies and policies for RIKE and research support.
