The Role As anEstates Compliance Technician, youll carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and routine inspections on systems including emergency lighting, fire alarms, smoke detectors, evacuation alarms, ventilation units, and water systems. Using a tablet-based CAFM system, youll log and update jobs, complete minor remedial works where possible, and escalate any issues promptly. Youll also support the wider maintenance team and contractors, working safely and in line with risk assessments. What Were Looking For To succeed as anEstates Maintenance Technician, youll ideally have experience of maintaining large or varied estates, with knowledge of CAFM systems an advantage. Youll be self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage your workload effectively, with strong attention to detailespecially when working with heritage buildings. Good communication, basic IT skills, and a team-oriented approach are key.
