About the role
We are looking for a vibrant, compassionate, and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant who possesses confidence in English and maths in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum. The role will involve working across the school supporting individuals or groups, with some whole-class teaching, and delivering high-quality small-group intervention tailored to pupils’ needs and preparing pupils for end of Key Stage assessments. The job is varied and offers opportunities to provide support and tuition to assist pupils’ learning.
Visits to the school are strongly encouraged and can be arranged via the school office.
Work Schedule: 1:00pm - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Fixed Term until 31 August 2025.
Responsibilities
* Provide targeted support for individuals or groups in line with KS2 National Curriculum.
* Deliver high-quality small-group interventions and ready pupils for end of Key Stage assessments.
* Assist with some whole-class teaching where appropriate.
* Monitor and report on pupil progress, adapting support to needs.
Qualifications and Skills
* Confidence in English and Maths aligned with KS2 standards.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, pupils, and families.
