About Pacific Private Hospital
Located on the Gold Coast, our boutique facility is on a mission to redefine patient care. Pacific Private has completed expansion, with additional operating theatres and inpatient beds. We offer orthopaedics and other surgical services as part of our modern short-stay and in-hospital care.
Our hospital provides a state-of-the-art facility focused on safety, patient care, and recovery journeys. We specialise in Orthopaedic, Ophthalmology, Plastic, MOH's, Oral & Maxillofacial, General surgeries and Gastroenterology/ Hepatology.
Responsibilities
* Undertaking efficient, cost effective and timely purchase and procurement of consumables and equipment
* Provide exceptional customer/patient service by replenishing hospital areas
* Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting positive team culture, communicating and offering help to team members and liaising with other staff as required to create an experience that makes a difference
* Maintain standards of customer service and ensure patient confidentiality and privacy are always maintained
About you
* Experience of purchasing within a large service focused organisation
* Experience with managing complex urgent purchasing and financial issues with a computerized inventory system
* Experience with DOX or similar materials management computer systems is desirable
* Proven ability to successfully manage multiple urgent tasks and achieve deadlines
* Good literacy and numeracy skills
* Previous experience in a similar role (Desirable)
* Medical product knowledge (Desirable)
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
* Solid analytic and problem solving skills
