Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a small Electronics Manufacturing & Test team.
Introduce new products, processes and automated test equipment into manufacturing.
Design, validate and document electronic test systems and verification processes.
Provide advanced diagnostic support and root-cause analysis.
Support data-driven improvements across manufacturing operations.
Work closely with engineering, quality, manufacturing teams and external suppliers.
Contribute to DfM/DfA/DfT and ensure IPC standards are met.
Drive continuous improvement in PCBA manufacturing and test.
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong electronics design, measurement and fault-finding capability.
Leadership experience within engineering/manufacturing.
PCB/circuit design using modern CAD tools.
Experience with SMT/PCBA/AOI equipment.
Understanding of firmware/software and basic coding.
Strong problem-solving skills (8D, A3, RCA).
Excellent communication, organisation and documentation skills.
Familiarity with ISO9001 or similar quality systems.
Desirable
Firmware/software coding skills.
Six Sigma/Lean experience.
ATEX/IECEx or hazardous-area product experience.
Knowledge of ISO45001/14001.
3D CAD (e.g., SolidWorks).
Qualifications
HNC/HND/Degree in Electronics or related discipline.
Electronic CAD experience essential.
