REPORTS TO: Store Manager
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Stock Management, Team Support, Store Operations, Customer Experience, and Brand Experiences
ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a supervisor, you will be instrumental in supporting the store’s sales performance and operations while delivering exceptional, sensory-driven customer experiences. You will combine operational excellence with creativity, acting as a brand ambassador and inspiring the team to consistently meet performance targets.
You will lead and host our signature Fragrance Tapas and Shot Candle™ experiences, bringing the Jo Loves brand to life in immersive, luxurious, and unexpected ways. In addition, you will assist the Store Manager in managing daily operations, stock, and visual standards, while mentoring the team to deliver best-in-class customer service and storytelling.
RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES:
Leadership & Operations
* Assist the Store Manager in achieving and exceeding weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets.
* Support day-to-day store operations, including opening/closing procedures, daily briefings, cash handling, and health & safety processes.
* Maintain exceptional visual merchandising standards, ensuring the store reflects the Jo Loves brand.
* Manage stock movement in and out of the store, organising and recording deliveries, stocktakes, and cycle counts accurately.
* Highlight stock performance, patterns, or potential issues, and proactively resolve discrepancies.
* Deputise for the Store Manager as required and lead the team by example in all aspects of store operations.
Customer Experience & Sales
* Deliver an exceptional customer journey through warm, tailored service and in-depth product knowledge.
* Drive sales through effective upselling, storytelling, and building client relationships.
* Operate the till system with accuracy, handling transactions, returns, and exchanges.
* Capture customer data and encourage loyalty through insights on new collections and exclusive events.
Fragrance Experiences & Brand Representation
* Host the Fragrance Tapas Experience, guiding guests through Jo’s inspiration while using unique, interactive techniques
* Lead the Shot Candle Experience, helping guests blend their own bespoke candle with expert fragrance guidance.
* Create engaging, educational moments that deepen customer connection to the brand and drive product discovery.
* Embody the Jo Loves brand values of dreaming, daring, caring, and delivering in every customer interaction.

* Proven experience in premium/luxury retail with a strong record in sales and leadership.
* Passion for fragrance, creativity, and immersive customer experiences.
* Confident and inspiring communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
* A team player with a hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to lead by example.
