We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming private school in Essex. This role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to students' academic progress, wellbeing, and confidence while working closely with teachers and other staff members.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide classroom support, deliver small-group interventions, and offer one-to-one guidance to students who may need extra help accessing the curriculum. You will also assist with behaviour management, preparation of resources, and creating a positive learning environment where every student can succeed.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide in-class support to teachers and students across a range of subjects
* Deliver small-group or one-to-one learning sessions as directed
* Assist in behaviour management and promote a positive learning environment
* Support students with additional needs to access the curriculum
* Help prepare learning resources and classroom materials
* Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to staff
* Contribute to extracurricular activities and wider school life
* Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience supporting children or young people in an educational setting (desirable)
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Patience, empathy, and resilience when supporting students
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
