THE JOB
We seek dynamic individuals based at our Stone Mill, Staffordshire, covering Staffordshire, Derbyshire, and Shropshire.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Achieving sales targets through proactive efforts to acquire new customers, maintain relationships, and upsell products/services.
2. Having detailed product knowledge to explain features and benefits for maximized sales.
3. Building rapport with customers to understand and meet their needs.
4. Managing a Sales Pipeline to identify potential new opportunities.
5. Communicating effectively in person, by phone, or email to promote products and services.
6. Demonstrating products and answering customer questions to maximize sales.
7. Negotiating prices considering customer budgets to offer competitive options and maximize margins.
8. Managing customer debt within company credit policies.
9. Organizing and conducting customer meetings to promote Carrs Billington and its products.
10. Adhering to company policies, safety, health, and environmental standards.
11. Ensuring compliance with legislation and codes of practice like UFAS, FIAS, and NOPS schemes.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALITIES REQUIRED
* Experience in driving sales growth.
* Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make decisions.
* Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making under pressure.
* Experience managing a sales ledger via CRM systems.
* Agricultural background preferred.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
