We're looking for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to support our engineering department. This role reports directly to the Engineering Manager and plays a key part in maintaining operations, leading maintenance activity, and contributing to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Engineering Manager in departmental objectives and cover in their absence.
* Lead maintenance activities including fault diagnosis, PPM, and reactive repairs.
* Ensure documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements are consistently met.
* Drive improvements in sustainability, automation, and efficiency.
* Provide technical support to production and facilities teams.
* Manage stock, spares, and engineering stores.
* Support audits, facilities maintenance schedules, and cross-functional projects.
Requirements
* HNC (or equivalent) in engineering.
* 5+ years' post-apprenticeship maintenance experience.
* Strong fault-finding and technical drawing interpretation skills.
* Supervisory/team leadership experience.
* Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance planning.
* Organised, detail-focused, and able to remain calm under pressure.
* Confident communicator, capable of coaching and influencing others.
* Proficiency in Excel and other maintenance/production IT systems.
