Overview
To be a Seasonal Sales Assistant at The Entertainer you must be: reliable and flexible in what hours you can work; approachable and confident to deliver excellent customer service; physically fit and able to move stock around the store, work with deliveries and pallets, on your own and as part of a team; willing and able to help out in our local Tesco concession space. Merchandising, keeping the shelves full, talking to customers and handling deliveries are part of the role.

Responsibilities
* Provide reliable and flexible assistance with hours of work; there may be extra hours if we are busy.
* Deliver excellent customer service; be approachable and confident in interaction with customers.
* Assist with stock movement, deliveries and pallets; work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
* Support merchandising, keep shelves full, talk to customers, and handle deliveries.
* Assist in the local Tesco concession space as required.
Qualifications / What we’re looking for
* Love of toys and customer service; enthusiastic and friendly personality.
* Ability to work weekends (stores open 7 days a week) and on busy holiday periods.
* Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings and different days of the week; provide as much detail as possible in your application.
Key Information about this role
* Rates of Pay: 16-20 year olds - £11.15 per hour; 21-year-old plus - £12.36 per hour.
* Contract end date: 3rd January 2026.
* Hours: 12-hour per week contract (may include 4-hour shifts over 3 days or two 6-hour shifts).
* Store hours: open 7 days a week; weekend support including Sundays required.
* There may be opportunities for extra hours depending on trade.
* Seasonal Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or New Year’s Eve work is required as part of the role.
