Overview
Wrexham AFC is delighted to offer paid internships for the 2026/27 season. This placement is designed for students who have recently completed a relevant degree or those undertaking a required year in industry, ready to turn knowledge into real impact while growing alongside the club. The placement is subject to an enhanced DBS check (with Children’s Barred list).
Role: Paralegal Internship
Location: Wrexham (various sites)
Contract Duration: 10 - 11 months
Type: Internship
Hours: 3-4 days per week (9am-5pm)
What You’ll Be Doing
Our Work Placement programme offers hands-on experience of working in-house in a football club. You will gain real-life insight into the life of a paralegal in the sports sector across a variety of practice areas. Examples of the work include:
* Drafting: contracts, correspondence and presentations.
* Shadowing: meetings and calls.
* Research: into legal queries raised by various departments.
What We Are Looking For
Undergraduate / SQE students who are passionate about pursuing a career in sports law. Useful skills include:
* Excellent written/verbal communication
* Attention to detail
* A keen interest in a particular area of law
In-house Legal Departments cover a broad range of work. It would be useful if you had experience in one or more of the following areas of law:
* Commercial
* Sports
* Data protection
* Corporate
