Overview
We are currently recruiting for a General Assistant to join our team at one of our independent schools in Ipswich, IP9.
This is a permanent position working 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 12pm - 6pm. Term Time Only
Please note a DBS check will be required for this position.

We provide School lunch with a combination of hot meals and grab and go offerings.
Responsibilities
As our General Assistant you\'ll assist with service and work in the pot wash as well as assisting the chef for a small evening service.
Skills and Experience
* Have experience working in a similar role and environment
* Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment
* Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
* Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy
* Have excellent customer service and social skills
* Be responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff
* Have a can do attitude and will work well as part of a team of 11
* Be customer focused
* Have basic food knowledge
* Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
