Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven and commercially focused Major Account Product Manager to accelerate Combilift’s growth in the UK. This field-based role is dedicated to developing new business with major end-user accounts, while working in close collaboration with our dealer network. The ideal candidate will be highly proactive in identifying new opportunities and capable of influencing buying decisions at a senior level, whilst ensuring integrity and professionalism through our dealer-centric route to market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities with major UK-based end users.
* Engage directly with key decision-makers and stakeholders within interregional accounts to generate demand for Combilift solutions.
* Work closely with Combilift’s UK dealer partners to deliver proposals, demonstrations and provide ongoing support.
* Support dealers by providing technical knowledge, customer insight, and deal structure guidance to help win key accounts.
* Deliver compelling product presentations, site surveys, and solution-based recommendations to prospects.
· Work closely with internal teams including engineering, marketing, and customer support to tailor solutions to customer needs.
* Maintain strong knowledge of Combilift’s product portfolio and applications across various industries.
* Represent Combilift at UK trade shows, dealer events, and customer visits.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of sales or business development experience, ideally within industrial, construction, or capital equipment sectors.
* Proven ability to generate and convert new business, particularly with complex or high-value products and customers.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills, capable of managing both end-user and dealer relationships.
* Self-starter who thrives in a field-based, autonomous role.
* Understanding of the dealer distribution sales model is a strong advantage.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
Desirable:
* Experience selling through or working within a dealer network.
* Familiarity with materials handling equipment, warehousing, or manufacturing environments.
* Technical aptitude or engineering background (advantageous but not essential).
* Prior sales experience with capital and/or industrial equipment.
