Reservations Consultant – Indi-Ocean & Caribbean

A leading luxury travel specialist is expanding their global team and seeking an experienced Reservations Consultant to support their continued growth.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated travel professional with strong destination knowledge of the Caribbean and ideally the Indi-Ocean, who thrives in a fast-paced, service-led environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and managing bespoke, high-end itineraries for travel advisors, acting as a trusted expert from the first enquiry right through to post-travel follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage incoming reservations from travel agents via phone, email, and digital platforms.
* Design and sell complex, tailor-made luxury itineraries, including premium accommodation, transfers, and unique experiences.
* Provide expert recommendations across Caribbean destinations; knowledge of the Indian Ocean is a strong advantage.
* Liaise with hotel partners and destination teams to secure availability, negotiate rates, and fulfil special requests.
* Ensure all client documentation is accurate, timely, and of the highest standard.
* Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to elevate the client experience and maximise revenue.
* Resolve escalated booking issues or travel disruptions with professionalism and efficiency.
* Keep up to date with industry trends, destination developments, and relevant travel requirements.
Skills & Experience Required
* 3–5+ years’ experience in reservations, travel sales, or operations—luxury or DMC background preferred.
* Strong destination knowledge and demonstrated success selling travel to the Caribbean; Indi-Ocean.
* Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple complex itineraries simultaneously.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a confident, service-focused phone manner.
* Proactive problem-solver with the ability to handle time-sensitive or challenging situations.
* Sales-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
* Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends as required by global operations.
