Spire Dunedin Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our Bank team. This flexible role is ideal for professionals seeking a better work-life balance while continuing to deliver exceptional care. You’ll work ad hoc shifts to support the needs of the business, giving you the freedom to choose when you work.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Deliver exemplary planned care for patients requiring perioperative intervention.
2. Support the management and organisation of care within the operating theatre.
3. Take on roles including Surgical First Assistant (SFA), dual role, and advanced surgical practitioner with extended skills.
4. Assist perioperative managers in optimising theatre utilisation and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.
Who we're looking for
5. HCPC or NMC Registered professional.
6. Strong communication and organisational skills to maintain our high standards.
7. Ability to work effectively within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
8. Previous experience in perioperative care within a theatre setting.
