About the role
As the Sr. Global Manager – EHS, you will lead the global EHS program across Securitas’ datacenter physical security operations. You’ll be responsible for developing systems, policies, training, and cultural initiatives that protect people and mitigate risks. This role manages a geographically dispersed team of EHS professionals and serves as the primary liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including client EHS leadership.
This position is ideal for a senior leader experienced in global EHS operations, risk prevention, safety culture transformation, and managing large, cross-functional teams.
What you’ll do
Lead the strategic development and implementation of a global EHS program supporting datacenter physical security operations. Oversee a distributed team of EHS professionals, ensuring compliance and promoting a strong safety culture. Responsibilities include creating policies, defining KPIs, conducting risk assessments, managing emergency plans, and driving continuous safety improvements. You will mentor staff, collaborate with stakeholders, investigate incidents, and manage client relationships to ensure safety and service standards are met.
What you need to apply
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Industrial Hygiene, or related fields, or equivalent experience, along with relevant safety certifications. A minimum of 15 years of progressive EHS leadership experience is required, with a strong background in global safety programs and compliance. Experience in datacenter environments and working with contract security vendors is a plus.
Strong leadership skills for managing globally distributed teams, strategic program management, and excellent communication skills are essential. Proven ability to influence safety culture and align EHS initiatives with business goals is needed.
This role requires travel (approximately 30%), so a valid passport and flexibility for domestic and international travel are necessary. Availability for evening or weekend work during emergencies is also required.
