Job Purpose
We are seeking a commercially minded and digitally fluent Senior manager, Customer Discovery & Propositions to spearhead our efforts in understanding and addressing customer needs and evolving our digital marketing capabilities and services. Rather than responding reactively to campaign requests, this role will support the vendor business and marketing teams in taking consultative and strategic approach to identifying opportunities, using data and market intelligence to position our services as key investment priorities for vendors.
This role will serve as a trusted advisor to vendors, internal marketing teams, and business units—bridging commercial insights with marketing technologies to unlock new growth opportunities and long-term value.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive a proactive sales approach to vendor engagement by identifying new opportunities to promote TDSYNNEX’s digital marketing services and capabilities.
* Advocate for the customer with internal stakeholder groups, ensuring their needs are met
* Use market intelligence, internal data, and vendor strategies to triangulate insights and build compelling business cases for investment in our digital solutions.
* Collaborate closely with central marketing teams, business units, and executive stakeholders (e.g., VPs) to identify which capabilities can be enhanced or adapted to better meet vendor needs.
* Support the evolution of data-driven marketing solutions, incorporating automation, digital innovation, and AI to strengthen value propositions.
* Articulate forward-looking data and technology requirements to enable our Data and MarTech functions to evolve their capabilities and solutions in line with the needs of the business
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
* 8–10 years of experience in commercial, digital marketing, or vendor engagement roles
* Deep understanding of marketing technologies, automation, and data utilization (without requiring a purely technical background)
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate insights into investment opportunities
* Creative and lateral thinker, capable of identifying new angles and approaches to vendor engagement
* Experience in developing strategic go-to-market propositions or value-driven vendor solutions
