Job Description
We are recruiting for Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our team at our client's waste management site based in Cumbernauld .There is a number of opportunities available for experienced drivers looking for ongoing, full-time work with a well-established operation. The roles involve a mix of driving and on-site duties, operating specialist walking floor equipment, and supporting day-to-day site activity.This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday with a 6:00am start. The pay rate for this role is between £13.42 and £15 per hour dependent on experience.
Overtime is available after 8 hours.We currently have requirements for multiple Class 2 roles including Tipper Trucks, Trade Waste, and Skip Drivers.Your Time at WorkIn these roles, your duties will include:Driving a Class 2 vehicle to transport waste materialsOperating machinery safely and efficiencyLoading and unloading materials in line with site proceduresCompleting daily vehicle and equipment checksEnsuring all loads are secure and legally compliantCompleting delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate recordsFollowing all on-site and road safety regulationsSupporting general site duties where requiredOur Perfect WorkerOur ideal Class 2 Driver will have:A valid Class 2 (C) licenceDriver CPC and Digital Tachograph cardExperience within a waste management role is preferred but can accept similar experience, for example multi-dropA good understanding of health and safety within an industrial environmentThe ability to carry out manual handling tasksA reliable and punctual approach to workThe ability to work independently with a professional attitudeA flexible and hands-on approachKey Information and BenefitsEarn £13.42 to £15 per hour depending on experienceMonday to Friday working patternOvertime available after 8 hoursFull-time, ongoing workWeekly payTraining and induction providedOpportunity for permanent employmentSupportive and established team environmentAbout BrightworkBrightwork Ltd offers the services of an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
