Specialist Care Support Worker
Location: Hampshire-based, primarily supporting areas between Southampton and Winchester
Service: Specialist Care
Contract: Flexible Full-Time (Long Day Weekdays & alternate Weekends)
Salary: From £13.00 per hour

SCA Care is looking for compassionate, reliable, and experienced Specialist Support Workers to join our dedicated team. Based in Southampton, our team provides support across Hampshire, including up to Winchester.
In this rewarding role, you will deliver person-centred care to young adults, empowering them to live independent, fulfilling, and meaningful lives. Youll work closely with individuals with complex needs, helping them reach their goals and enhancing their quality of life.

Please note: A full, valid, and clean UK driving licence with access to own vehicle is essential for this role.
About the Role
As a Specialist Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individuals social, emotional, and physical wellbeing. Working within SCA Cares values-led framework, you will promote independence, dignity, and inclusion within the local community.
This is a flexible position, offering long days that include weekdays and alternate weekends.

* Competitive pay: From £13.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
No two days are the same. Your duties may include:

* Supporting with daily living tasks such as personal care, cooking, cleaning, and domestic duties
* Assisting individuals to attend appointments, social activities, and community outings
* Encouraging independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
* Supporting individuals to pursue their interests and hobbies (e.g. cooking, arts & crafts, gaming, music, dancing)
* Promoting positive behaviour and using de-escalation techniques when required
* Supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex physical needs
* Working confidently in environments where pets (such as dogs) may be present

* Is passionate about professional development and ongoing training
* Is comfortable supporting individuals with pets
* Holds a full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
