Daily Duties
7. Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and working documentation
8. Develop construction information in coordination with architects, engineers, and consultants
9. Ensure compliance with building regulations, technical standards, and quality requirements
10. Assist in the preparation of planning and building control submissions
11. Conduct site visits to advise on buildability, detailing, and technical resolution
12. Maintain CAD/BIM standards and oversee drawing accuracy and quality control
13. Contribute to tender documentation and project handover packages
14. Support junior technicians and drafters with guidance and mentoring
Ideal Candidate
15. Recognised qualification in Architectural Technology / Technician discipline (HNC/HND or degree)
16. Proven experience delivering technical outputs on medium to large-scale projects
17. Proficiency in CAD/BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD)
18. Several years UK based experience in a Technical role
19. Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, construction detailing, and specification writing
20. Excellent coordination and communication skills with architects, engineers, and contractors
21. Detail-oriented, pragmatic, and solution-focused
22. Confident undertaking site visits and translating technical issues into practical solutions
