Full-time - 37 hours per week all year round, shift pattern 11 am to 7 pm (shift pattern is subject to change in regard to events around the school so flexibility is required).
Pay Scale Range: NJC Outer London scale point NJC11 (£32,070) to NJC17 (£34,998) p.a

In September 2025 St Andrew the Apostle School moved into its new, modern, state-of-the-art building equipped with advanced features including automatic entry and Paxton systems, air filtration, a sprinkler system, a Building Management System (BMS), and high-spec Design Technology and Science classrooms.
We are now seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to support the Facilities Team in maintaining compliance and ensuring that our new building runs efficiently and is well-serviced and remains compliant.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and proactive site team, where your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and the broader community.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Facilities Manager in maintaining the school site, including compliance with health and safety regulations.
General maintenance tasks and the ability to understand and work with modern building system.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the school environment is safe and well-kept.
Supervise the contracted cleaning team via communication and liaison with their shift supervisor, promoting the high standards required to keep the new school sparkling.
Securing the building at the end of the shift.
