The Best Connection are recruiting for Drivers Mates to support our client with home delivery operations. This is a professional, customer-facing role where you'll work alongside a driver, delivering goods directly to customers' homes as part of a 2-person team.
The Role:
* Assisting the driver with the delivery of goods to customers' homes
* Heavy lifting involved, but always working as a 2-man team
* Providing excellent customer service and representing the company in a professional manner
* Ensuring deliveries are completed in a safe and timely manner
* Following all health & safety procedures
* Subject to random drugs and alcohol testing
The Candidate:
* Professional, polite, and customer-focused
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling/heavy lifting
* Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
* Flexible and willing to commit to the working hours
* Any suitable candidates will complete a induction.
Hours of Work:
* Monday - Friday: 06:00 - 17:00
* Saturday: 07:00 - 18:00
* No Sundays or Bank Holidays
Pay Rates:
* £12.21 per hour (PAYE)
