Job summary
Our service user is a 9 year-old girl who lives at home with her loving family in Newcastle upon Tyne and requires support throughout the day with her complex care needs on a 1:1 basis.
She is generally a happy and cheerful girl who loves spending quality time and engaging with her family, friends, and care team.
Your role throughout the day will include being vigilant, providing personal care, moving and handling, attending to her clinical care needs when required and assisting her to enjoy her hobbies and interests.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
Main duties of the job
Our service user is none verbal and communicates through eye gaze, it is important you become familiar with her methods of communication to ensure her needs and wishes are met. Patience and understanding are key qualities for this role.

We have the following shifts available;
1. Full Time & Part Time Days Available
2. 2-4 Shifts Per Week
3. 12:00pm - 9:00pm

Bank Holiday £ per hour Approx. £144 per 9-hour shift

Job responsibilities
The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.
The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
