The Role Join a leading airport engineering team maintaining and repairing Ground Support Equipment (GSE) - from tow tractors and de-icers to hybrid and electric service vehicles. This hands-on position plays a key part in ensuring aircraft turnaround stays safe, fast, and efficient. Key Responsibilities Service, inspect, and repair heavy mechanical and electrical airport equipment. Diagnose faults across hydraulic, pneumatic, and drivetrain systems. Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and wiring diagrams. Complete all service documentation and safety checks accurately. Work collaboratively with airside teams to maintain operational safety and uptime.Requirements Strong background in heavy vehicle, GSE, HGV, or plant maintenance. Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ / Apprenticeship). Full UK driving licence. Ability to pass CRC & GSAT checks and obtain an airside pass.
