Job Title: Attorney Talent Development Manager / Senior Manager

The Attorney Talent Development Manager supports the full attorney talent lifecycle across the Firm’s Europe offices, working closely with partners, practice groups, and legal professionals at all career stages. Acting as a trusted advisor to leadership, the Manager designs and implements strategies for onboarding, integration, development, engagement, and morale, providing both individual and group support to ensure professional growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
* Performance Management & Talent Development: Guides partners on evaluations, coaching, and career development; identifies external coaching resources.
* Evaluations: Oversees preparation and delivery of evaluations; advises on standards, advancement, compensation, and resolves issues with HR and labour counsel.
* Training: Communicates training needs; supports creation of programs and helps identify speakers and trainers in the region.
* Onboarding: Develops onboarding programs with Talent Team, Recruiting, HR, and Administration; conducts sessions on policies and career resources.
* Integration: Supports new hires through check-ins, office hours, and community-building initiatives.
* Outreach: Promotes L&D culture via emails, personal outreach, and office visits; engages interns, trainees, partners, and legal professionals.
* Internal Programming: Assists with programs to enhance career development and engagement.
* Promotions: Secures required approvals; manages documentation process including drafting or consulting on promotion memos; suggests updates to memo templates.
About You
* Strong background in Attorney Development in a law firm, including experience in talent and performance management.
* Strong project management skills: able to lead complex projects and meet multiple deadlines.
* Can take assignments from start to finish with minimal supervision.
* Advanced analytical skills: able to prioritize data, anticipate issues, and make effective decisions.
* Applies sound judgment and problem-solving to achieve business objectives.
