We looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to join our award winning Lender Finance / Bridging team. You will be responsible for working within a team or experienced Solicitors and Licensed Conveyancers managing a caseload of bridging, buy to let mortgages for our lender clients.

This role is a hybrid role and two days can be worked remotely following a successful probation period.

Responsibilities


* Managing case files to a high standard
* Advising and communicating with clients to ensure they are up to date on their matter
* Time recording and meeting all compliance requirements
* Conduct legal research
* Handling completion monies
* Preparing invoices and ensuring all fees are accounted for prior to completion
* Reporting on title upon completion
* Dealing with post-completion work, such as redemptions, consent to lease, s106 approval and so forth

Qualifications

* We will consider experience conveyancers without a current formal qualification with an aspiration to qualify as a Property Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer.
* Minimum 3 years experience in similar role as a conveyancing assistant

Key Skills

* Excellent Knowledge of conveyancing is essential
* Solid written and verbal communication skills are needed
* Ability to be proactive and handle a busy workload
* Ability to perform well under pressure and work to tight deadlines
* Ability to handle a fast-paced working environment
