My client is seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to develop sales as part of a team. The candidate will manage their own sales accounts and contribute to the company's sales strategy. The role involves overseas travel to manage accounts and support the sales team, mainly at exhibitions. It is primarily office-based, with potential for hybrid working for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the GM and sales team to produce the Annual Sales Strategy at the start of each financial year.
2. Create a 90-day quarterly sales activity plan for your regions and accounts, including travel plans.
3. Identify new growth opportunities through new distributors and OEM customers within your regions.
4. Review individual customer purchases and identify ways to increase sales and gross profit.
5. Report monthly to the GM on progress against budgets and sales plans, including remedial actions if needed.
6. Perform any reasonable requests from the GM and Company Directors.
Experience Required:
* Understanding of international markets and trade.
* Strong knowledge of the Photonics Industry.
Salary:
* Up to GBP45,000 plus a GBP10,000 bonus package.
