We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to join ONNEC Group. This role involves creating and driving the L&D strategy and function. Experience in developing and delivering internal training with e-learning content is essential.

You will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering a comprehensive suite of learning and development solutions for ONNEC. Ensure all colleagues are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and behaviors needed to perform effectively and meet customer needs. Since this function is in its early stages at ONNEC, it offers a rewarding opportunity to design the L&D function from the ground up, shaping our future approach.
What you’ll do as our L&D Manager:
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and senior managers to assess learning needs and develop comprehensive learning strategies.
* Design and deliver inspiring learning and leadership programs, including industry-specific schemes, online materials, and in-person sessions.
* Manage and enhance our performance management process, ensuring effective training and development outcomes.
* Oversee the training and development budget, selecting external providers that offer the best value without compromising quality.
* Create and implement a cross-functional graduate scheme for ONNEC Group.
* Coordinate with partners on tailored graduate schemes.
* Manage the apprenticeship strategy, maximizing the use of the apprenticeship levy.
* Develop an internal learning and development catalog.
* Ensure training materials are current and relevant, providing a seamless learning experience.
* Implement succession planning initiatives.
* Develop and oversee talent management processes.
* Work with partners and vendors to maximize training resources and maintain accreditations, aligning with industry standards.
* Stay ahead of industry training and qualification requirements, communicating strategies to keep the organization competitive.
* Manage the employee retainer training bond process.
* Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and metrics.
* Report key L&D metrics monthly to the HR Director.
What we’re looking for in our L&D Manager:
* CIPD qualification with proven experience in developing L&D programs from scratch.
