Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain an up-to-date broth test and hatch transfer validation to work in the aseptic suite.
2. Prepare cytotoxics, monoclonal antibodies, and other aseptic products daily in accordance with standard operating procedures.
3. Ensure handling and storage procedures are strictly followed for cytotoxic/aseptic medicines and clear any spillages according to departmental procedures.
4. Clean isolators on a sessional basis.
5. Assist in Quality Control and Quality Assurance of the aseptic preparation area according to standard operating procedures.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience in aseptic production, manufacturing, laboratory, or pathology is desirable. We are seeking a motivated support worker holding an NVQ Level 2 in pharmacy services or equivalent, or willing to undertake this qualification. Manufacturing or laboratory experience is an advantage. The successful candidate will need to be dynamic, flexible, detail-oriented, and possess fine manual dexterity skills.
