Job Description:
Are you passionate about supporting children with their mental health needs?
A rewarding position has become available for a Youth Mental Health Worker in a school in Bracknell. This role offers valuable experience and the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
The school focuses heavily on supporting students diagnosed with Autism, ensuring they receive appropriate interventions to aid their development and education.
As a Youth Mental Health Worker, you will assist children in managing their emotions and mental health, help regulate their emotions, and promote healthy coping strategies.
Your daily duties will include supporting and shadowing the class teacher, providing 1:1 support for SEN students, and helping to run engaging lessons to create a fun classroom environment. Behavioural management may also be part of your responsibilities.
This role is a transformative experience, enriching your life while positively impacting children struggling to cope in the classroom.
Experience working with vulnerable children is desirable but not essential. Candidates with backgrounds in sports, art, or drama will have an advantage. Graduates in relevant fields will also be considered.
