Job Description
We are partnering with a well-established, values-led B2B organisation to appoint a People & Culture Director. With a strong heritage and a workforce of c.300 employees, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation, with people and culture at the heart of its strategy. This is a high-impact, Executive Committee role, reporting directly to the CEO.
The Opportunity
As People & Culture Director, you will shape and deliver a modern, commercially aligned people strategy to support ongoing growth and organisational evolution. Acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team, you will bring both strategic insight and hands-on leadership to drive performance, engagement, and capability across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a forward-looking People strategy aligned to business goals
* Partner with senior leadership to enhance organisational design and leadership capability
* Lead Learning & Development, embedding structured career pathways and succession planning
* Drive organisational change and transformation initiatives
* Champion employee engagement, culture, and internal communications
* Ensure robust compliance with UK employment law and HR best practice
* Build future talent pipelines, including early careers and external partnerships
* Act as a visible advocate for DE&I, employee voice, and social impact initiatives
* Leverage data and workforce insights to inform executive and board-level decision making
About You
You are an experienced HR leader with a track record of operating at Executive level within a complex or scaling organisation. You bring a strong balance of strategic thinking and operational delivery, with credibility across the full HR agenda.
