The Opportunity: Well-Being and Activities Coordinator. This role involves organising, developing and planning programs of activities and events for residents, ensuring their social, religious and cultural needs are provided for. It is pivotal in supporting residents to access social networks, maintain hobbies and develop new interests, and to engage in activities that promote physical and mental well-being in a person-centred way.

Duties
* Create a stimulating and varied programme of activities and social events for residents.
* Work with each resident to identify social and recreational requirements according to likes/dislikes, abilities and personal preferences.
* Produce material for quarterly newsletters and share information on social media and with relatives.
* Plan events inside and outside of the home (e.g., exercise sessions, theatre productions, pet therapy).
* Keep full records of all activities, review feedback and assess effectiveness.
* Manage and work within the monthly activities budget.
* Assist in transporting any service users to appointments using company vehicles or public transport.
* Support residents to enjoy a fulfilling and meaningful life, maintaining their dignity and helping them to feel valued.
* Demonstrate excellent written and verbal English skills.
* Proactive, friendly, imaginative and compassionate nature with an interest in older people; previous experience as an Activities Coordinator or in care is beneficial but not essential; a positive 2 attitude is required.
* Proficient computer skills.
* Valid UK driving licence.
