HGV Technician opportunity in Plymouth
1. Competitive basic salary of up to £50,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications
2. Flexible working hours with shifts from Monday to Friday, 7.00 am to 3.30 pm or 1.30 pm to 10.00 pm

Duties of a HGV Technician:
6. Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on Heavy Goods Vehicles to a high standard
7. Diagnose faults efficiently using the latest diagnostic tools and equipment
8. Complete work in line with manufacturer guidelines while maintaining high standards of quality
9. Support the workshop team to ensure a safe, clean, and organised working environment
10. Accurately document all work completed, including job card completion
11. Assist with additional tasks as required to meet the business’s operational needs
Requirements:
12. Proven experience as an HGV Technician or commercial vehicle mechanic
13. Relevant Level 3 qualification such as IMI or NVQ in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
14. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with attention to detail
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
16. Full UK driving licence; HGV licence is advantageous but not essential
17. Previous experience within the commercial vehicle sector preferred
