Job Title: Electrical Power Engineer

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Writing technical specifications and supporting in the down selection and placing of contracts.
2. Liaising and collaborating with external suppliers and the customer.
3. Following design lifecycle management to ensure the delivery of equipment to specification.
4. Providing technical consultation to multi-discipline teams, suppliers, and stakeholders on matters related to the power system.
5. Preparing technical reports, calculations, and presentations to communicate results and recommendations effectively.
Your skills and experiences:
* Essential Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
* Experience with high power, medium voltage power electronics, machines, and drives.
* Knowledge of power systems, including conversion, distribution, and control.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

The Steam Integrated Design Team (IDT):
As an Electrical Power Engineer, you will be part of a new team working on innovative technologies for the British Navy, focusing on development, verification, and validation processes, especially related to Turbo Generators.
