Job Description:
Development and Treasury Accountant
* Salary up to £51,000 per annum plus Benefits.
* 37 hours per week with Flexitime.
* Permanent Role.
* Home-basedwith occasional travel to Magna Offices.

The role & what you take care:
As an internal expert on Finance treasury and housing development matters, including related systems, policies, and procedures, you will support confident decision-making, cost control, value for money, and quality services, building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You will translate complex information into user-friendly materials, using data and insights to drive continuous improvement while upholding high integrity.
* Manage treasury operations including banking, cashflows, interest payments, loan compliance, debt security, and new debt facilities.
* Serve as a key contact for funders, trustees, communications, and reporting.
* Business partner with the development function to analyse financial impact, ensure scheme appraisals comply with policy, and populate entries in the 30-year Financial Business Plan.
* Prepare and submit regulatory returns and gather Development and Treasury information for year-end financial statements and budget production.
* Oversee subsidiary activities and manage one direct report.

What you need to be successful:
* Extensive knowledge and proven experience in Housing Finance alongside an understanding of the Social Housing Sector and it's regulatory and political landscape.
* You will be curious and innovative.
* A communication style able to adapt to audience and situation.
* Demonstrates personal values of integrity and accountability, representing Magna's vision and values.
* Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT etc) or qualified by experience.
