Overview
Foundation Programme Director W28 role at NHS Scotland (West Region, University Hospital Wishaw, NHS Lanarkshire). Part-time position; 1 PA (4 hours per week). Fixed Term / Secondment for 36 months. Flexible Location: NES is a remote friendly employer supporting office, remote and hybrid working (within the UK).
Responsibilities
* Manage a Foundation Programme and the education and training needs of each resident on the programme, approximately 30 residents, based at University Hospital Wishaw.
* Contribute to the formal Foundation teaching programme in partnership with the existing Foundation Programme Directors.
* Be accountable to the Postgraduate Dean or Associate Postgraduate Dean; may combine the role with educational and/or clinical supervision.
* Ensure the employer would support a Service Level Agreement for this role within the job plan.
Qualifications
* Recognition of Trainer status.
* Clinician based locally to the post, across the West of Scotland, in a permanent NHS or University post (Consultant, GP or SAS doctor).

* Salary: Consultant, Associate Adviser or other appropriate pay scale.
* Location: Flexible: NES supports remote, hybrid and office-based working within the UK.
