About the role - Responsibilities Prepare month end reconciliations and management accounts to a draft position Post monthly accounting journals Assist with the implementation and administration of the accounting and purchasing systems Maintenance of fixed asset register Reconcile bank accounts daily Quarterly VAT Returns Manage weekly supplier payment process Maintain, implement and improve internal controls and procedures Provide cover and support for other members of the finance team as required Skills and Experience Previous relevant accounting experience and knowledge essential Completed or working towards an accounting qualification ( AAT or similar) with at least 1-2 years of experience in a finance role Strong knowledge of excel Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and high level of accuracy Confident user of Xero as well as other office applications (applicants with experience of similar accounting packages will also be considered) Numerate with strong analytical skills Good communication skills Adaptable with a positive and proactive approach If you would like to discuss the role in more detail then please do nothesitateto contact Lyndsey at Global Highland
