Your Role:
As a BYD Technician, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of BYD electric and hybrid vehicles. You will play a key role in ensuring vehicles meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on BYD electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in hybrids.
* Use manufacturer-specific tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot complex issues.
* Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), routine servicing, and vehicle software updates.
* Maintain detailed records of service and repairs in line with BYD and dealership standards.
* Stay current with BYD's latest technical updates, systems, and innovations.
* Provide technical support to other team members and contribute to a positive workshop environment.
* Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably with EV or hybrid experience.
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Automotive Maintenance & Repair.
* Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software (BYD or OEM systems is a plus).
* Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Valid driver's license.
