The Head and Neck team are looking for an enthusiastic candidate for the role of Speciality Coordinator, primarily to support the daily running of the ENT department.
The successful candidate will work to provide and manage an efficient and effective administration service.

This role is situated within the Head and Neck department. The successful candidate will work primarily within ENT and will work closely with consultants, doctors and clinical staff to ensure the smooth running of services.
The ENT department provides services across all of the Trust's sites, Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Andover War Memorial Hospital and Alton Community Hospital
Our unit at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital provides outpatient, day case and elective services to our patients.

Training & Qualification
Essential criteria
6. Good standard of general Education including English Language, maths of GCSE or equivalent Or ECDL Certificate Or Formal secretarial/senior administration training Or NVQ2 or equivalent plus relevant experience
Desirable criteria
7. Customer Care Training Or similar
Experience & Knowledge
Essential criteria
8. Experience in supervising a team
9. Experience of supervising a team in a large, complicated organisation
10. Experience of developing new processes. Experience in implementing change.
11. Able to demonstrate from previous employment history evidence of job-related achievements and success
12. Experience of performance management
13. Experience/ Knowledge of the 18-week pathway
Desirable criteria
14. Previous experience of using databases
15. NHS experience in an Acute Trust
16. Knowledge of outpatient clinic structures, waiting lists and outpatient operational procedures.
17. Good insight into the importance of NHS performance and quality standards
