Join Our Team as a Printing Assistant!
Do you have a sharp eye for detail, a flair for organisation, and a passion for helping things run smoothly behind the scenes? We’d love you to join our friendly Administration Team in this new role, adding capacity to support our cross-college reprographics need.
As our Printing Assistant you’ll be at the heart of college life — organising and providing high-quality printing, copying, and scanning services that keep lessons flowing, events running, and staff supported. Think of yourself as the magician who makes resources appear just when they’re needed most!
What you’ll be doing:
1. Producing top-quality print and digital materials with speed and precision;
2. Managing requests and deadlines like a pro (no paper jams slowing you down!);
3. Keeping our equipment in tip-top shape and stocked for action;
4. Supporting the Admin’ Team with reception and general clerical duties;
5. Offering friendly, expert advice to staff and students alike, and
6. Helping us cut waste, save costs, and work smarter every day
What we’re looking for:
7. A detail-driven multitasker with excellent communication skills;
8. Someone who thrives under pressure and loves a deadline challenge;
9. A team player who’s also confident working independently, and
10. A pragmatic and calm problem-solver who can also spot ways to improve efficiency and make life easier for others.
What you’ll gain:
11. The chance to play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across the college
12. Opportunities for development and continuous learning
13. A fun and friendly, supportive team environment where your work truly makes a difference
In terms of personal attributes, we’re looking for a colleague who is creative, collaborative, and confident being hands-on in an often fast-paced environment. Most of all we are looking for someone who is approachable – with a positive attitude and a willingness to step in to help colleagues.
Not sure you meet all the requirements? Let us decide! Research shows that women and members of other underrepresented groups tend not to apply for jobs if they think they may not meet every qualification, when in fact they often do. At St Brendan’s we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and strongly encourage you to apply.
Our job adverts may close as soon as sufficient applications have been received. Considering this, if you are interested in this role, please do apply as soon as you can.
