Role Overview

Otis is growing and is looking for a maintenance service engineer for one of our entities located in Portlethen covering Aberdeenshire.
Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.
On a typical day you will:
1. Carry out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits of the units within your territory
2. Work within your defined geographical area / territory, managing the portfolio of elevators within it
3. Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first time fix
4. Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation
5. Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship
What you will need to be successful
6. A minimum qualification of NVQ3 in lift engineering is required (J Modules accepted)
7. Hold a clean drivers license
8. You have at least 36months of experience in the elevator sector
9. You have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering
10. You are a committed professional, with safety as your priority
11. You are comfortable communicating to others
12. You are curious, adaptable, and you know how to work alone or in a team
13. You are comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
