We are looking for a dynamic Band 7 Advanced Practice Dietitian/Team Lead to join our Adult Community Learning Disabilities (LD) Service. The Learning Disability Service provides input to 3 Community Learning Disability Teams across Forth Valley as well as input into the inpatient unit at Lochview in Larbert.

The post is ideal for Dietitians who have experience of working with people with a learning disability.

The LD Dietitians work alongside health and social care colleagues to improve the health outcomes and to address inequalities for people with a learning disability living within Forth Valley.

As well as a clinical commitment this post will lead and take responsibility for the planning, development and operational oversight of the Adult LD Dietetic Service.

The LD service in Forth Valley is innovative therefore there will be opportunities to work collaboratively to improve service delivery and to be involved in quality improvement projects.

We are strongly committed to providing opportunities for self development, with annual appraisals, regular supervision and training opportunities to further develop you specialist skills.

A BSc in Nutrition & Dietetics, HCPC registration are essential for this role.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
