This is a rare opportunity to take on a pivotal role within our Business Improvement & Innovation Centre of Excellence, supporting a once-in-a-generation civil engineering programme that will supply clean, reliable electricity to around 6 million homes.
As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you’ll be at the heart of driving performance and operational excellence across our delivery teams. You'll lead structured improvement initiatives and embed a culture of continuous learning and collaboration, ensuring our delivery methods are not only fit for purpose, but future-focused.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Leading and facilitating improvement initiatives across the Civil Works Alliance
* Implementing daily/weekly visual performance management systems
* Conducting root cause analysis and value stream mapping

* Coaching and mentoring section/site CI leads to embed best practice
* Monitoring KPIs to measure the success of process improvements
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable seamless project delivery
We’re looking for someone who can bring the following:
* Proven experience in process improvement within large-scale infrastructure or civil engineering programmes
* Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen or Last Planner methodologies
* Excellent analytical, facilitation and coaching skills
* Strong project management capabilities and stakeholder engagement experience
* Proficiency in process mapping and statistical tools (e.g. Visio, Minitab)
* A relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management or related field (a master’s or Six Sigma Black Belt would be an advantage)
* Ideally, some familiarity with the nuclear or regulated infrastructure sectors
The role is primarily based in Suffolk, with occasional travel to London, and sits at the very centre of a landmark UK project with lasting impact on our national energy future.
If you're motivated by complex challenges, continuous learning, and meaningful work that will shape the UK’s energy landscape for decades to come — click the link to apply and join the CWA on the Sizewell C project.
