We are seeking to appoint a kind, enthusiastic and calm Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our hard working and friendly lunch time team. You will enjoy working with children and have initiative to work both independently and as part of a team. The role is 5 days per week 11.45am - 1.15pm term time only and is offered as a fixed term contract to the end of this academic year in the first instance. The main duties include: Layout of tables / benches in preparation for lunch Supervision of pupils in the hall encouraging good social skills and manners Cleaning of the hall after lunch including clearing any food left on tables, wiping the tables and benches and sweeping / mopping the floor Safeguarding of pupils so they have a happy and safe lunch time Encourage children to be resilient, independent and follow the school values in line with our behavior policy and deal with incidents accordingly Provide first aid during the lunch period as required. The interview will be in w/c 23rd February and will be a trial lunch time.
