The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for candidates interested in a career in Risk Management within our diverse, passionate, and thought-leading ZRS Property Team.
Candidates should have some background in Property Insurance, through underwriting, claims, or risk engineering.
The role is home-based, with travel required to customer sites across the region. It is an essential car user (ECU) position, including a company car allowance.
We will conduct a 3-month training academy to provide foundational training for successful candidates to start their risk engineering careers.
This role offers diversity and reward, with comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you thrive and support customers with technical guidance.
Zurich Resilience Solutions supports customers and stakeholders with risk management solutions including surveys, account management, and technical advice.
Responsibilities
1. Undertake desktop and on-site risk assessments following global guidelines.
2. Produce professional risk assessment and improvement reports.
3. Manage risk improvement actions proactively.
4. Collaborate across Risk Engineering, Claims, Underwriting, and other departments.
5. Prioritize workload to meet customer and global requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience assessing property risks (fire, flood, security) from underwriting or claims perspective.
* Knowledge of risk management and loss prevention for Property and Business Interruption risks.
* Professional qualifications such as Cert/Dip CII, TIFireE, or Risk Management certifications.
* Strong presentation and customer engagement skills.
* Ability to build trusted relationships and promote teamwork.
* Commitment to self and team development.
* Clear, consistent, and open communication skills.
* Proficiency with Zurich Resilience Solutions and stakeholder engagement.
