Responsibilities * Carry out coded welding on structural steel and fabricated assemblies in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) * Perform MIG / MAG coded welding (FM1 + FM2) using approved gases (M24) on EN 10025 / EN 1090 CE marked materials * Weld material thicknesses ranging from 1mm up to 50mm in all qualified welding positions including PA, PB, PC, PD, PE, PF (OVERHEAD / UPHILL) * Read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and blueprint drawings accurately * Set up welding equipment correctly, selecting appropriate consumables and parameters to match WPS requirements * Complete pre-weld checks and post-weld visual inspections to required acceptance criteria * Work alongside welding inspectors and NDT inspectors, supporting MPI / UT / RT activities as required * Rectify weld defects and carry out approved repairs in line with WPS and quality procedures * Maintain...
