Job Title: 3D Material Artist Location: Gaydon, Warwickshire Rate: £33.88ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £25.26ph PAYE Employment Type: Contract (Initial PO - 03/31/2026) Hours: Standard 40 Hours Per Week This role works as an essential part of the tech and data hub model production team, responsible for generating high quality 3D visualisation models, all produced and compliant to tech and data hub creative and technical processes and standards. The primary purpose is successful delivery of physically accurate digital materials using a strong understanding of photography, optics, and digital scanning techniques and to support a variety of on-board and off-board CGI use cases, across vehicle design, materiality, brand and customer ready workstreams, using cross-functional collaboration and support. Key features of the role include physically accurate material/shader development, complex texture creation, reference capture/data management and material library management. There will be scope to maintain and adapt internal processes to improve efficiency and quality of textures and materials delivered by the department.
