The Motor - Credit Hire team at DWF is currently looking for an experienced Paralegal to join their dynamic and supportive team in Liverpool. The role is hybrid with office attendance required 2 days per week.
Responsibilities
* Managing a caseload of Credit Hire claims, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in handling.
* Conducting legal research and drafting documents, including defences, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
* Liaising with clients, insurers, and third parties to ensure effective communication and case progression.
* Providing support to senior fee earners and contributing to team targets.
* Ensuring compliance with DWF’s standards and regulatory requirements.
Essential
* Proven experience working as a Paralegal in Credit Hire or a related legal area.
* Experience handling in your own right or supporting on a litigated caseload.
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
* A proactive approach, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Desirable
* A strong understanding of Credit Hire litigation processes and principles.
