Job Summary
Anord Mardix, a Flex company, is a global manufacturer of switchgear and related products for mission-critical and commercial buildings, including data centers and corporate headquarters.
We are looking to add a Sales Estimator EMEA – DATABAR based in Westmoreland Business Park, Kendal.
Reporting to the Sales Director EMEA - DATABAR, you will collaborate with the sales team to manage the sales estimation process from enquiry receipt to order. Your role involves direct client engagement to ensure accurate solution capture in commercial offers and supporting the sales hand-over process by liaising with Project Management, Supply Chain, Production, and Logistics teams.
Typical Daily Activities:
* Estimating the full range of DATABAR products
* Managing enquiries and meeting deadlines
* Communicating with clients via phone and email to pre-qualify requirements
* Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and third parties
* Promoting Anord Mardix products/services and expanding our customer base
* Supporting sales administrative tasks
* Helping other departments manage projects efficiently for maximum profit
* Following up with clients and stakeholders
* Working with external sales to secure new orders
Desired Experience and Skills:
* Excellent customer service skills with high numeracy and literacy
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Sector-specific experience is beneficial but training will be provided
* Driven, good planner, capable of making decisions with limited information
* Ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines
* Eligible to work in the UK
