About the role
Connex Education is working in partnership with a number of welcoming Primary Schools in the Derby area, who are recruiting for EYFS, KS1, and KS2 Teachers to work on a day-to-day supply basis. This role will involve taking on full classroom responsibilities during cover days, including lesson delivery, maintaining a positive learning environment, and supporting pupils’ progress.No lesson planning will be required.

Assignment Details
These roles are for 3-5 days a week, starting in September, and will run for the duration of the autumn term.

Person Specification
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience of working with children aged 3–11 in a UK primary school setting
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons
• Knowledge of the national curriculum and phonics schemes such as Read, Write Inc or Letters and Sounds
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain a new one
